Make History -- This is the first breed club of its kind in the world. No other breed club has ever tried to protect their breed so rigorously -- by restricting breeders on what they breed, how they breed, and when they breed, protecting puppy buyers by taking the guesswork out of selecting a breeder and requiring each puppy to come with a written money-back contract, and preventing casual owners from becoming unknowledgeable breeders through early spay/neuter of pups. This is the Face of the Modern Breed Club -- to take responsibility for their breed and quit blaming the A.K.C. and puppymills for ruining it!
Protect the Breed -- This is the Parent Club for the Caucasian Ovcharka breed in the USA. This club will be making the decisions that will protect Caucasians and their owners now and in the future from everything from exploitation and poor breeding practices to frivolous lawsuits and breed-specific legislation. Get involved with your breed now, when your vote counts most!
Gain Knowledge -- The top Caucasian Owners and Breeders in the USA are on the US-COPS "Knowledge List" (our internet chat list). Here is a wealth of information and answers to your training and behavior questions, as well as a place to share your laughs and experiences of life with your Caucasian!
Receive Recognition -- If you are doing something unusual or innovative with your Caucasian, here is the place to talk about it and be recognized for your contributions to the breed. There are many "firsts" for the breed that you and your Caucasian can strive for. Many performance and working titles have not yet been earned by a Caucasian -- maybe your dog can go down in history as being the "first" to have attained a certain title!
Have Fun -- US-COPS sponsors several fun costume contests throughout the year with prizes, where both owner and dog must dress up along the same theme, have a picture made, and send it in. Other favorites are the "fun" degrees for your dog to earn, (e.g., the "Bed-Dog" and "Bed-Dog Deluxe" Degrees, and the "Camp Dog", "Beach Dog" and "Trial-Riding Dog" Degrees), which encourage owners to have fun and try new things with their Caucasians!
